GBS Merchandise, team-building activities, a scavenger hunt and a lot of information about GBS and Campus Westend – on April 3, we welcomed the 13th intake of our Master in Finance program at Goethe Business School. The day began with a warm welcome from Dr. Christian Jansen, Managing Director of GBS. This was followed by a talk from alumnus Andreas Othmer, who completed the program in 2024. Drawing from his own experience, he shared valuable insights into studying part-time while working and answered students’ questions about his current role and professional development. After a round of self-introductions, the new students received an overview of the program and heard from the academic director, program manager, and marketing director.
The afternoon was dedicated to team-building activities aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering a sense of community among students. Under the guidance of Dr. Nicole van Hoeck and Karoline Kossek from Notebaert Consulting, the students took part in interactive sessions aimed at improving teamwork and communication. These sessions encouraged participants to reflect on their personal strengths and build connections through engaging and cooperative challenges.
We are excited to accompany this new cohort as they begin their academic and personal journey!
