If you are exploring the part-time master programs at Goethe Business School from a country outside the EU, please note that you will require a student visa to study in Germany. The German authorities will usually not issue a student visa for admissions to a part-time study program in Germany. Therefore, if you are able to relocate to Germany on a different type of visa other than a student visa, for example, a work visa, then you may be eligible to study with us. Otherwise, please consult your respective embassy or check out this portal to explore full-time study programs in Germany.
Candidates with an undergraduate degree (i.e., bachelor or equivalent) of 210 credit points (CP) based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) are eligible for admission. Candidates with less than 210 CP at the undergraduate level can have their post-university professional work experience assessed for up to 30 CP during the admissions process in the form of an interview. The allocation of credit points for work experience will appear on the Academic Transcript of Records and be titled ‘Prior Learning Assessment’.
To earn a German master degree, students must accumulate a minimum of 300 CP. With the successful completion of the master program, a total of 90 CP can be earned. Based on this, candidates with a total of less than 210 CP upon admission cannot be accepted to our programs.
You may use our calculation tool to help you convert your grades to determine your German GPA equivalent. Please note that we provide this only as a supporting tool for an easier program application process.
