This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the entrepreneurial process. It covers essential concepts, skills, and techniques necessary to start, manage, and grow a new business. Topics include opportunity identification, business model development, market analysis, prototyping, resource acquisition, and effective pitching and communication. Students will engage in hands-on projects, case studies, and practical exercises to develop the mindset and skills required for successful entrepreneurship. The goal is for participants to obtain a deeper understanding of the startup ecosystem and develop a set of practical, analytical, and strategic skills critical for launching and growing a business within.
- Explore the startup ecosystem and the role of different market participants
- Ideate and assess the quality of business opportunities using state-of-the-art tools and frameworks

Dr. Christopher Oster
Dr. Christopher Oster is entrepreneur and executive. He has 15 years of experience in leading companies from foundation to established businesses. In 2015 Christopher founded CLARK and served as the company’s CEO from 2015 to 2024. Under his management CLARK developed into the leading online insurance distributor and one of the few insuretech unicorns in Europe. Prior to CLARK, Christopher served as COO for Wimdu, an online travel platform, and worked several years as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. Christopher graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and holds a PhD from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management.
