GBS Master & MBA Programs Approved for Veteran Affairs Benefits Programs

Goethe Business School’s part-time programs have reached a new level of international accessibility. With recent recognition from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, GBS now opens its doors even wider to a new group of prospective students. This development strengthens the commitment to inclusion and makes studying at GBS more attainable.

We are proud to announce that all of our programs are officially approved for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefits. While the Master of Pharma Business Administration has held this approval for the past four years, the Goethe MBA (Digital Transformation | Data Science | Sustainability) and Master in Finance programs are now also eligible, marking a significant step in expanding access to our programs.

This approval is not only an important milestone for Goethe Business School but also a meaningful opportunity for U.S. veterans, active-duty service members, and their families who are seeking to advance their education and careers internationally. With VA approval, these students can now access financial support to cover tuition, housing, books, and other education-related costs while studying in Frankfurt.

The VA Education Benefits Programs

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits programs provide financial assistance to veterans, service members, and eligible dependents pursuing higher education or professional training. These benefits can be applied to a wide range of educational formats, including degree programs, apprenticeships, and certification exams.

These benefits include programs, such as:

  • Post-9/11 GI Bill® – Covers tuition, housing, and supplies for veterans who served after September 10, 2001.
  • Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) – Assists active-duty and selected reserve members with education expenses.
  • Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) (Chapter 35) – Provides aid to spouses and children of disabled or deceased veterans.
  • Yellow Ribbon Program – Helps offset additional tuition costs beyond the Post-9/11 GI Bill limits at private or out-of-state institutions.

By receiving VA approval across all programs, Goethe Business School reaffirms its commitment to providing a high-quality, internationally recognized education to a broader, more diverse student population. We are excited to welcome more students from the U.S. military community into our classrooms. You are a candidate for VA education benefits but do not know which of their programs applies to you? Please visit the VA website for more information: www.va.gov/education.

Please note: Enrollment in one of our degree programs is only possible for beneficiaries residing in Germany or another EU member state, as all of our programs are delivered on campus in Frankfurt.
