ACCREDITATION

GOETHE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM ACCREDITATION

All GBS master programs are delivered on behalf of Goethe University Frankfurt and are required to be accredited by Hessian law to ensure high quality program delivery and teaching. Since 2016, accreditation at Goethe University has been carried out as part of the establishment or continuation of study programs as internal (re)accreditation and under the supervision of the Department of Teaching and Quality Assurance (LuQ).

The internal (re-)accreditations are closely linked to the evaluation procedures so that the degree programs offered can improve in a continuous process of reflection and discussion. The results of the program evaluation and key figures are presented to external experts during the internal re-accreditation, and the recommendations of the internal re-accreditation body are addressed in the subsequent program evaluation in a dialog with students and faculty representatives.

These procedures ensure that GBS master programs’ structures and processes are in line with relevant German and European quality standards ensuring that the defined program qualification goals can be met.

AACSB ACCREDITATION, FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS

The accreditation of Goethe University’s Faculty of Economics and Business, its full-time degree programs and GBS part-time master programs awarded by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is proof of the Faculty's continuous commitment to excellence and optimization of its academic standards.

As an advocate for management education, AACSB International represents a combined influence of more than 1,700 educational institutions, businesses and organizations in over 100 countries, representing more than 150,000 faculty members and over 4 million students. AACSB-accredited schools have the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curricula and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools.

EDUNIVERSAL BEST MASTERS RANKING

The predecessor program of our Goethe MBA, the Master of Digital Transformation Management, was ranked #2 in Germany in the 2022 Eduniversal E-Business and Digital Marketing ranking!

Each year, Eduniversal ranks the Best 5,600 Masters & MBAs in 55 specializations, covering 154 different countries/regions within 9 geographic zones. The Eduniversal Best Masters ranking is highly selective, and not all over 1,800 Institutions surveyed by Eduniversal have their programs ranked. "Best Masters" is today the only international ranking that evaluates programs and not institutions using a sector-specific approach based on specific "market criteria”. These criteria measure the capacity of a particular program to provide a student with that added value indispensable in today’s job market.

Learning together builds relationships and especially in executive education, the network you‘re building is part of your educational experience. I can only confirm that learning from each other is just as important as the classes you attend – the mix of generations, industries and experiences is always enriching. Not only are other careers greatly inspiring, but also the people you‘ll meet! You will broaden your network and are likely to make long lasting friendships, too.
