Goethe Business School Kicks Off Fall Semester with 60 New MBA Students

The new Academic Year launched for Goethe Business School (GBS) with a successful Orientation day for 60 new MBA students on Thursday, October 4, 2018. The ‚Master of Digital Transformation Management’ starts with its second cohort, while the ‚Master of Pharma Business Administration‘ commences its third year running. GBS is thrilled to see the success of their specialized MBA programs continue to grow.

Excited students from a diverse range of professional backgrounds and representing a total of 10 different nations gathered for a welcome address from Goethe University’s Vice President Prof. Dr. Rolf van Dick, MBA Academic Director Prof. Dr. Lars Schweizer, and GBS Managing Director Dr. Christian Jansen. The part-time students enjoyed the opportunity to network with GBS Alumni and partners such as House of IT and House of Pharma & Healthcare, while getting an early taste for the interactive lesson style of GBS in a Team Building exercise. The evening closed with a reception event as students geared up for their first classes, which began early on Friday, October 5. Students dove directly into their studies with a weekend packed full of lectures, guest talks, and group case studies, bringing the valuable mix of theory and practice offered by these specialized part-time programs to the spotlight.

GBS wishes all of its new students best of luck for the start of their studies!
