Goethe Business School - Graduation 2017

On May 13th, Goethe Business School (GBS) celebrated academic achievements of the part-time Master in Finance graduates.

 

The graduation ceremony - a perfect end of two exciting years at GBS - was held in the House of Finance on Campus Westend of Goethe University Frankfurt. Daniel Seibert, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Managing Directors at Nanogate AG, delivered the key note speech to the graduating Class. Among other highlights of the ceremony – presentation of the ‘Goethe Excellence in Teaching Award’ to the best faculty – Prof. Dr. Axel Wieandt and scholastic honor awards to top graduates who demonstrated exceptional academic performance

Frank Westhoff, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM) presented FIRM financial awards to three graduating students with exceptional results in the ‘Risk Management’ specialization modules from the Master in Finance curriculum.

GBS Managing Director Dr. Christian Jansen acknowledged graduates’ continuous efforts during the challenging 22-month academic program and emphasized the faculty’s tremendous efforts in making the academic journey a success. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Master of Arts in Finance degrees and scholastic honors were conferred by Prof. Dr. Uwe Walz, Academic Director of the Master in Finance and member of the AACSB-accredited Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Goethe University.
