Winner of the pitch sessions of 24 startups - presented by Dr. Moritz Finkelnburg, GBS Academic Director Insurance and Robin Kiera, one of the international top influencers – was the Hamburg-based InsurTech Nect. The startup was able to convince the high-profile jury with its business model: A central data portal for customers with the opportunity to manage data on one single point of access (“single identity”). Nect was represented by Benny Bennet and Carlo Ulbrich, who were awarded with the Goethe InsurTech Award, winning a prize money of 10 Litecoins.
Goethe University’s Campus Westend offered the perfect conditions for a successful conference, at the same time providing a professional, academic and informal framework with ideal networking opportunities. Numerous sponsorships formed the base of the event and various media corporations ensured comprehensive media coverage.
