The Master of Pharma Business Administration is a very innovative MBA program, specifically designed for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry making this program truly unique in Germany. It has been created by the combined expertise of Goethe Business School, the House of Pharma & Healthcare, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy of Goethe University.
The MBA program provides:
- a strong foundation in the principles and practice of general management applied to real-world situations in the pharmaceutical context
- state-of-the-art pharmaceutical management knowledge along the pharmaceutical value chain
The program can be completed in four semesters – including bi-weekly classes on Friday afternoons and Saturdays during three semesters and the subsequent master thesis in semester four. Graduates earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree awarded from both the AACSB-accredited Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy at Goethe University.
Many highly qualified professionals with excellent scientific pharmaceutical backgrounds do not qualify for leading positions due to a lack of fundamental business knowledge. A part-time MBA program focused on the pharmaceutical industry offers ideal conditions to close these knowledge gaps and enables graduates to implement what is learned immediately into their professional daily practice.
