Abstract:This presentation outlines the advantages and benefits of IP Telephony. It especially presents the items to be considered when implementing this technology within a financial company. One of the specialties are branch environments as well as regulatory requirements holding for the financial industry sector. This also leads to security topics to be considered during the design and implementation. As a future outlook the presentation also includes approaches to integrate the mobile phone to complete the Unified Communication approach.
