Eligibility
Both EU and non EU citizens enrolled in a state recognized university in Germany are eligible to apply for this loan regardless of age.

International students who do not have a German Abitur, (school examination that enables a student to study at a University, equivalent to A-level/SAT-exam) may be required to provide recommendations.

Duration
Recipients of this loan will receive funding throughout the duration of the degree program, plus one semester.

Description

Overall, students can apply for funding up to 30,000 Euros for the entire duration of the degree program, as follows:  Living expenses up to 1,000 Euros per month, Tuition fees up to 100% (maximum of 10,000 Euros per payment date) and Recurring expenses up to 5,000 Euros.

Application
A complete application includes the following documents:  cover letter, photo, CV, relevant high school and university certificates/transcripts, and recent recommendation letters.

Requirements
Applicants must submit an official university letter confirming their enrollment and/or registration in a degree program.
