Alumni from all Goethe Business School degree programs and all class years were represented at the GBS Alumni Event last weekend.

On Friday evening, a cheerful crowd gathered at a popular Italian restaurant in downtown Frankfurt for dinner, drinks, and good company. Stories ranged from the latest updates in everybody’s personal and professional lives to sharing memories from the times as active GBS degree students. For this year’s graduates it was a rather new sensation to get together with people from the GBS network socially now and without having the next team assignment or upcoming pre-reading in the back of their minds. Let’s just say they liked it.

On Saturday, a group of 15 adults and nine children travelled back in time and visited the Roman Fort Saalburg outside of Bad Homburg. Despite the dreary weather, alumni and their families enjoyed learning about life in the fort almost 2000 years ago. A highlight was that three of us tried on traditional Roman dress and we saw Jonathan turn into a soldier, his wife into a townswoman and Jörg into a senator.
