Career Services

Our network's pillar of strength lies in the quality of the partnership Goethe Business School and Goethe University hold with key business institutions around Frankfurt, across Germany and across the world. Goethe University's alumni hold key positions all over the world.

Career services at Goethe Business School constitute an interface between the students, our corporate network, the faculty and alumni. GBS students can profit from the following career services approach:

  • To provide support for each student's personal job search
  • To act as a sounding board by making and suggesting networking connections where possible
  • To organize various types of career events over the course of the year:
    - "How To's": Job Application, Networking/Social Media workshops
    - "What Industries": Company Presentations, Tours
    - "Whom to Meet": Networking Events both professional and social

Final Management Project

The Goethe MBA degree includes a Final Management Project that takes place in the final term of the program for a minimum of six weeks. It exposes students to the working environment and professional expectations of leading firms in Frankfurt, in another location in Germany, or internationally.

It is an internship in any industry or sector that provides students with the opportunity to obtain management experience in a company in order to increase their understanding of decision-making processes as well as their awareness of the challenges faced by today's business leaders.

Ideally, students will be supervised by senior managers and their work supports a company's professional activities and projects.

Although the Final Management Project has a six week minimum timeline, some firms may expect a longer internship commitment period of three to six months depending on a company's project requirements.

Final Management Project placements typically come from the close connections with our corporate contacts or GBS alumni.
